APR 30: Adult over West Miramar

Yesterday I watched the nest for over an hour from about 9:15 to 10:20. Saw empty nest remains and no eagle activity.

This morning, exactly at sunrise (6:44 AM), this adult Bald Eagle flew over the west Miramar wetlands, about 1 1/2 miles SW of the Pembroke Pines nest. It was heading SW from the direction of the nest. It may be the male (Pride) judging by compact shape and extent of gape, not past middle of eye.
