AUG 7: Adult flying over west Miramar

At 7:12 AM (about 25 minutes after sunrise) an adult flew quite low overhead in the wetlands about 1 1/2 mile SE of the nest. Could not determine sex, but appeared to be in full adult plumage. It followed the usual course from NW to SE from nest area towards the large lake in Sunset Lakes.
