Eagle was spotted in Melbourne, FL on a pole near the nest Sunday afternoon 9/7 and again Monday 9/8.

I'm not sure what kind of pole it is, but it is VERY high.  Next time I go up there (not this weekend, but next weekend), I will be sure to have a spotting scope so I can see it better.  
The nest is about 8 blocks from my boyfriend's house.  Hardly ever see other watchers there.  Have never seen the police or any other governmental authorities there.
And, it does not take me 45 minutes each way to get there.
Last season two eaglets hatched and successfully fledged.
