Have they returned?

Speechykeane
I drove by Quiet Waters tonight around 5:30 pm (off the Sawgrass east onto SW10 th ) and as usual I check the old nesting tree..  I saw two very large birds in the tree next to the old nesting tree...  I could not tell if they were Eagles because it was rainy ...  Does anyone know if the Eagles have returned?

You very well may have seen the eagles. To my knowledge the Quiet Waters eagles began constructing a new nest in a nearby Ficus tree just to the west, outside the protected area. Perhaps others may provide an update.

I was hoping they would return to the area and build a new nest!  I drive by the nesting site practically everyday...  I'll keep my eyes open for them..  Thanks for the information!

This is great news!  I drove by tonight and saw the new nest..  Do you know if they will fence off the area around the tree?  It's definitely outside of the protected area...  Thanks for the updates!
