Phil captured a beautiful scene on January 7. It is getting very difficult to obtain a clear view of the nest because of the intervening vegetation. No reports of clear signs of the presence of an eaglet (such as tending or feeding, or bringing in prey), but this scene is very suggestive as both took time to peer down into the nest before exchanging incubation/brooding duties. Phil sent this photo and wrote (DEC 7):
Hi Ken,
I was at the nest today at 09:38 and the male was in the nest, looking around. At 09:45, the female flew in from the east and a minute later the male departed to the east.
