Miramar Eagles (DA005 Nest) Apr 14 Visit. Double Fledge - Double Trouble!

Upon arrival I saw both Eaglets in the nest and and adult (the male) perched nearby...One of the Eaglets was calling persistently...

Then both Eaglets "disappeared" ..Where they were? "branching?....
No!! they had fledge!

This Eaglet was showing real skill flying over the canal...

It really flew up and down, doing turns and enjoying itself...

And then landed...In the same spot were its father liked to perch back in December...

With skill gained balance...

Meanwhile the sibling was a little higher in another nearby tree...

And then flew to another snag..closer to the sibling

Then both decided to go to the shore of their own private lake!...

Spent some time there, "foraging"..and enjoying the water...

and then both flew together back to the forest...
