Miramar Eagles are back...

NotToofast
This post was updated on .
The Miramar Eagles are back, around their last known location of the nest...

Above a picture of the female, perched on a tree adjacent to the tree were the nest has been traditionally located..

And here a picture of the male, perching on a tree at the edge of the patch of vegetation....

The nest itself is very difficult to see...can really see the status of the nest and whether is being rebuilt...as everybody knows we had a spell of really bad weather. Ian impacted the area  with Tropical Storm force winds...

This family shares the patch and adjacent lake with a family of Ospreys and a family of Red Shouldered Hawks...here a picture of one of the residents... (edited and corrected. Thanks Ken for pointing out is a Red Shouldered Hawk and not a Merlin)
