Phil Martin provided a nice photo of the couple, published with his permission. His photo shows the distinctive profile of the head of the male (Pride), in the foreground. Note that his low forehead almost lines up with the top surface of his beak. The top of the larger female (Jewel)'s head is more rounded. Phil writes (NOV 10):

Hi Ken,
I was at the nest at 09:25 this morning and both adults were performing maintenance on the nest. I watched for about 20 minutes. (On NOV 13 Phil subsequently added: ..."I went to the nest yesterday 11/12 & 11/13.
11/12 I was at the nest at 12:45 and there was no activity. 11/13 I was at the nest at 8:25 and there was no activity.")
Phil

Hi Ken,

good observation on the heads, I also read that if the adult is a male it's beak line stops at the middle of the eye, and the female's goes just to the end of the eye or a little past it. I have to check this as I just heard of it recently.
