OCT 29: Female scared off roost

Just in from Phil Martin (October 29) His excellent photo is used with permission. Note the very long hind toe (hallux) which helps distinguish the female:

Hi Ken,
I was at the nest area this morning at 9:07 and the female was perched on the tree at 208.
At approximately 9:38 a group of Mastec workers were standing under her, taking photos and scared her off. She departed to the north.
There was no activity at the nest.
