OCT 6: Pride bringing in branches

Arrived at the nest at 9;15 AM and watched for 20 minutes. At first the nest appeared empty, but the male (Pride) arrived within one minute with a large stick.



He positioned it and then appeared to be calling up and to the right (west) to the female (Jewel), hidden in the foliage of the nest tree.



Jewel descended to the nest and Pride appeared submissive. He crouched down low when she arrived.







They both moved some sticks and then the female flew up to roost next to the nest while Pride continued working.
