Osprey chasing immature eagle with fish

An Osprey was pursuing an immature Bald Eagle, near our home in Miramar, over the west end of Miramar Parkway, about 2.9 miles SE of the Pembroke Pines eagle nest.

I obtained good photos of the immature as it flew westward towards me and nearly passed overhead. Had to study the photos of the pursuing bird as I was not sure whether it might have been another eagle at some distance. Photos confirm its identity as an Osprey. The eagle was carrying a fish, which it undoubtedly had stolen from the Osprey.

The eagle appears to be in third year plumage as its beak is mostly light and it has extensive white on its head, underparts and flight feathers. No residual juvenile primary feathers are evident although some secondaries appear not fully grown in and there is a trailing longer secondary feather which appears damaged or worn, on left wing..Since our local eagles hatch in January, it may be a very late second year but not a late third year/early fourth year plumage in my opinion. The fish looks like a Peacock Bass.
