Ozzie, the North Fort Myers Male Bald Eagle injured and in rehab

NancyB
See Famous bald eagle 'Ozzie' found injured in Ft. Myers article about Ozzie.  I checked the cam and saw one eaglet in the nest alone, and moving a little.  Does anyone know any more about this?

Link for Cam

Our hopes and prayers are for a speedy and full recovery for Ozzie, and for his Bald Eagle family.

Maria Rosa sent this note. I am working on the access problem that some have encountered. Hi Ken, I was going to post about the Fort Myers eagles, but for some reason I'm not allowed. Here is some info:

Two eaglets hatched but one passed away at around 25 days. The eaglet E6 is branching and should fledge soon. Harriet, the female has been providing for E6 and defending the nest since Ozzie was hurt.

Thanks for the update Maria Rosa.  It is good to know the eaglet is OK.
