Progress Report-- 27th Day of Incubation

This morning we saw an adult on the nest. It was barely visible over the rim, and in fact, disappeared down out of sight after a few minutes. We did not see another adult during the 20 minutes we observed, around 7:45 AM. We may expect the first egg to hatch in about one week.
