The adults were visible perched in the maleleucas about mid distance from the first paved area west of the nest.
The juveniles exhibited their usual pattern of late. They arrived around the nest tree about 7:15....Hope on the nest and Justice perched above. They stayed there about 20 min. and then moved several times, (always further east) as the small birds attacked. After criss-crossing the woods west to east, east to west, several times, (with all of us following each trip) they finally returned to the new eastern night perch. All the watchers (Lou, Kino and several first-timers and close by residents) couldn't help but "ooh and ah" as the 2 siblings cozied up as close as they possibly could to each other and settled down for the night.
No feeding was observed but Hope seemed at times to pick at what may have been leftovers in the nest.
