Wednesday evening report (Apr 15) from Smith

Smith Juan sent me this report with a couple of photos (not included here)

I arrived Wednesday at about 5:25 only see one adult eagle in the Melaleuca tree he or she
stood there for hours. The nest was empty.

Late in the evening (7:22pm )the adult started to cry out and I could hear an answer far away for the next nineteen minutes nothing happened, then he or she flew away. Then one of the young eaglets flew by landed in one of the Australian Pines next to the fence west of the nest.

Not the best landing the chick stayed there for about 5 minutes before flying to the nest where
he spent about 3 minutes flew west and landed on a tree top and finally flew away westward.
I left at around 8:03pm heading toward 27 only to find both adults perched way back in the Melaleuca tree closer to [US]27 . Yap there in the Eagle forest.
