Hello all,
I went to the nest the other day to see if the adults are sleeping there at night, and just getting ready to leave taking pictures of the sunset and out of the corner of my eye Mama came swooping in down low and landed in a tree near the nest tree, It was a great site to see, I always enjoy seeing them alive and well, she started calling out so I assume the male was around close but I didn't see him. She looks like she is molting which is expected after a nesting season. She will be beautiful come November in time for a new season. Here is a few shots of her and the sunset. Enjoy Kit

I'm going to try to go there tonight around dusk to see if they show up again if it's not raining. Those were my first sunset pictures, thanks for the comments, I looked up on google how to get the right settings.
Kit One more of her from same day

I went back again and saw them both, but they were so far away I couldn't get any pictures, but I was able to do a video but again it is far away and the quality is not very good, but it looks like the male is sitting in a palm tree waiting for the female to show up and she did, so I guess they sleep in the palm tree sometimes or the went to the nest tree after I left. I takes a little time for the video to load, because I wanted the best quality being so far away.

So they are both here! Yay❤️❤️ I knew that they mate for life so it’s good to know they’re still together and alive. I wonder how baby is doing???? Thank you so much, Kit!
