Went to the nest to see the Eagles

Hello all,

I went to the nest the other day to see if the adults are sleeping there at night, and just getting ready to leave taking pictures of the sunset and out of the corner of my eye Mama came swooping in down low and landed in a tree near the nest tree, It was a great site to see, I always enjoy seeing them alive and well, she started calling out so I assume the male was around close but I didn't see him. She looks like she is molting which is expected after a nesting season. She will be beautiful come November in time for a new season. Here is a few shots of her and the sunset. Enjoy
