the park is closing off the Marina area as of today for the Renaissance festival, it doesn't start today but they have to close to put everything in storage. I got a picture of the chick yesterday, so there is one so far but I couldn't tell if there is more than one. The festival goes until April 13th, so after that we can get back in the park again to the nest and the chick should be flying by then or close to it. The picture is so far away that it's not a very good shot, but it's definitely a chick. If I have better ones I will post them later. I will try next week to get near the nest through the bike trail but it will be farther away than the marina is.
