I was wondering if the adult eagles have started to rebuild a nest in the area.. I saw one eagle last Friday evening on my way home from work. Then I thought I saw a nest in one of the trees east of where the nest fell down.. Actually close to, if not the tree where they originally built a nest a couple of years ago.. Does anyone have an update?
As for our eaglet, I happened to go by Busch Wildlife Sanctuary in Jupiter today and was told he is doing well. They will not put him on display because their hope is to rehabilitate and release him when he's ready. The volunteer said he looks a little like a "DoDo" bird, and is growing.. good news for sure!
