At nest 3/7/14 from 11:40 a.m. till about 12:15 p.m.

I was at the nest today (Friday, 3/7/14) from 11:40 to about 12:15, I didn't see either of the adults.

I did see another bird that flew around the nest then flew off to the north.  I thought it might be a Peregrine Falcon, but I'm not sure.  I didn't get a good photo, but I will post it last.  If anyone knows what this bird is, please reply.  Thx.

One of the eaglets was VERY active when I was there.  He was flapping around a lot in the nest.  At first, I didn't see the second eaglet at all, but then I saw his head down in the nest.  That one, didn't move much when I was there; he was resting.

The wind was fierce out there today and kept blowing a tree in front of the nest.  It was hard for me to get good pics.

Sorry you missed it! It really was quite windy and I almost gave up after almost 45 minutes. That's an Osprey flying over. I once saw one follow an eagle allthe way to the nest. The eagle had a fish that I'm sure it stole from the Osprey.
