Both eaglets active this morning WED FEB 12

The older eaglet (Honor) is 32 days old. She was exercising her wings. Neither adult was in sight as we observed from about 9:00 until 9:45 AM.



Note the emergence of 10 primary (hand) feathers and also feathers on her wrist that I believe will be the primary coverts. The line of black secondaries is growing out along the "forearm" and will rest on  top of the primaries when the wing is closed.



Glory, Honor's sibling looks on quietly.



Honor, on right, has less natal down on her head and neck.
