Based upon ground observations, the first egg was most probably laid between NOV 25 and 29, so I am estimating the date to be NOV 27. Given the average 35 day incubation period, we may expect the first egg to hatch on or about January 1, 2013. This is two weeks earlier than has occurred in the past four seasons.
