Mary Lou and I stopped by between 12:30 and 1:00 PM today and found no eagles in the area.
There remains the possibility that one could be sitting deep in the nest, but we saw no indication that this may be the case. Usually an incubating eagle will move about every 20-30 minutes to rearrange the eggs and maybe shift position, so everyone should be looking for such signs.
I did talk to the bus driver who passes by and often must pull over near the roosting area to the west of the nest to keep on schedule and he said he has seen one adult there several times over the past week or so.
