FEB 13: Eaglet very active; mortality of sibling assumed

At 9:00 AM this morning the eaglet was very active. An adult roosted on the branch to the right. There is definitely only one eaglet in the nest, presumably the first hatched on or about JAN 10th. Several observers (myself included) witnessed good evidence that at least one other eaglet was being fed. I last observed the feeding behavior on JAN 24th, so mortality may be assumed to have occurred some time following that date. To my knowledge, there was never photo documentation of a second chick. (RIP, P Piney20). If anyone does have photos of two eaglets present, please let me know.
