FEB 3: Female deep in nest, incbating

We did a welfare check at 9:30 this morning and found the female deep in the nest. We should be looking for the incubating adult to raise up a bit to "tent" any newly hatched eaglets. Based upon the observed onset of incubation of the first egg on or about January 1, we should expect hatching to begin FEB 5-8.
