FEB 6, 7:23 AM: New female "Newfie" flying SE of nest

While walking in the wetlands a little after sunrise this morning this large eagle with dark tail feather tips flew over the lake in the Harbour Lakes portion of the West Broward WCA. It was heading south from a point just west of SW 196th & Pembroke Road, about 1 1/2 miles SE of the PP nest, flying towards the large lake in Sunset Lakes. It was cloudy and the light was poor. I am pretty sure it was the new female "Newfie."
