FEB 9: Only one eaglet

I made a quick stop at the nest at 9:00 AM on my way to Shark Valley in ENP. The nest appeared empty. Luckily, an adult arrived almost immediately. It was the female. She did not seem to bring in any prey.



The eaglet woke up and received a single feeding.





The adult then flew to roost just above the nest and the eaglet settled down again.
