We arrived at the nest around 8:20 AM and found the female standing high on the nest. Observing over an hour, we did not see or photograph any eaglets.
At 8:35 AM the male flew in (without prey) and roosted on the horizontal limb above the nest. The pair exchanged recognition calls.
About 5 minutes later The female then flew off and roosted on a Melaleuca stump to the west of the nest.
The male then flew down to the nest and began feeding the young.
At 9:20 the female flew back and joined the male at the nest.
She remained only one or two minutes before flying up to roost in the tall roadside Australian Pine east of the nest.
