At 08:45 the male,"brown-tip" stood and moved around the nest. At 09:05 he stood and began to rip and pull at the cache of food that was in the nest. He did not appear to be eating . At 09:10 the female flew in from the west, and the male flew west to the melaleucas. When the adults were in the nest , they both were facing west. The female would stand move around the nest about every twenty minutes. Trisha arrived at 09:45 and we discuss what had occurred.
