On January 1 the pair exchanged incubation duties around 10:00 AM just before I arrived. The female (Jewel) was deep in the nest. Her head was barely visible the entire time we watched, except for when she briefly reversed her position:

The male (Pride) roosted on a branch just to the left (east) of the nest:
