JULY 30: Two adults on cell tower again at Palm & Johnson

Jessica reported seeing them again today "They have been here over an hour. Behind Food Fair to the south of the Dog Park, east of Food Fair, west of 98th ave, north of Pines Blvd. "

These could be a pair from another nest, as our south Florida eagles tend to wander locally or regionally after the breeding season, but it is interesting that they are staying together. Perhaps they are considering it as a possible nesting site this autumn, and are protecting it. They have been known to use similar towers as nest sites.
