LOCAL BALD EAGLE SIGHTINGS AWAY FROM KNOWN NESTS
Use this Sub-Forum to post sightings of Bald Eagles in Broward and nearby Palm Beach and Miami-Dade Counties which do not appear to be associated with any of the three nests which are included in the other Sub-Forums.
Please provide specific dates, locations, number of eagles observed, behavior (such as roosting, flying, direction of travel, calling, carrying sticks, catching or eating prey, courtship or mating, etc) and, if possible describe plumage as adult (fully white head and tail), 2nd to 4th year immature (varying amounts of white on wings, body, tail and head) or juvenile (nearly entirely dark brown or blackish).
Your observation may be of importance in locating new Bald Eagle nests in our area.
