January 23 saw baby eagle!!

Barry Heimlich and I spent the morning birding. We stopped by the nest around noon (I think) and just after a food drop. Barry saw and photographed one eaglet that sat quite high up on the left side of the nest. I also got some shots that were not as good as his, and so did Katwoman.  I will post any of my shots if they turn out to be halfway decent.

Also saw and photographed an American Bittern at Chapel Trail Nature Preserve.
