Same observation (low in the nest) this afternoon 12:15-12:45 PM and 2:15-3:30 PM., but most of the time I could see the head clearly as he or she seemed to be looking around. Did not see another adult anywhere in the area. I checked the dead melaleucas to the west a few times. Nothing there.
There were no other watchers and it seemed that nobody on the road slowed down to see what I was doing, but most of the time I watched from my car window.
I heard the Quaker Parrots up in the light pole today for the first time this nesting season.
