No eagles, but lots of wildlife

We visited the nest for about a half hour around 8:30, but did not see any eagles.

There were many beautiful distractions nearby.

Swamp Lilies growing in the roadside ditch just across the street from eagle nest.



Cattle Egrets in cow pasture NW of eagle nest. Yummy fast food for the eagles!



Little Blue Heron in West Pines Soccer Park and Nature Preserve, at 196th Street and Pines Blvd.



Brightly colored Eastern race of Palm Warbler at the Soccer Park-- we usually see the dull Western variety.



Great Egret at Soccer Park.
