At 7:30 AM, about 10 minutes after sunrise, an adult Bald Eagle flew SE over the West Miramar Water Conservation Area, about 1 1/2 miles SE of the nest. Approximately 1/2 hour later, an eagle (possibly the same) attacked an Osprey which was roosting on a pole about 1/4 mile to the south. The Osprey was not carrying a fish as it flew towards the Harbour Lakes impoundment-- not sure whether or not it had dropped its prey over the wet prairie, but the eagle continued to pursue it for about a minute before returning SE towards the Sunset Lakes subdivision. It was not carrying any prey.
