Thanks, Lisa, that is good to hear. This is the earliest documentation of this behavior since we started keeping records. Maybe they will lay their eggs earlier than usual this season.

This shows that reliance upon the "standard" breeding season which starts October 1 must be supplemented by observations such as this, as they are more subject to disturbance while nest building than after eggs are laid.
