Mike Fossler
I arrived just as a second adult delivered food and roosted several branches above the nest. The other adult proceeded to feed the two eaglets. The second adult flew away to the south while the feeding continued until the eaglets were satisfied. The adult at the nest flew to the malaleuca strand to the west, leaving the little one alone at the nest. One of youngsters stayed awake and bounced around in the nest. I was about to leave when both adults appeared high overhead, soaring together on the thermals. Suddenly, one broke away and began to dive - I thought I was about to see a hunt, but it was just manuevering to land at the nest.

Below are photos of it all.
