Both Eagles were by the melaleuca trees very early this morning around 7:20AM. They both went to the nest, then the male left and the female was there until I left around 8:00AM
They must have spent the night there or nearer the nest tree. A good sign that they are well bonded. It will be interesting to see if the female remains in the area past the end of the normal breeding season in mid-May. Being younger she may still have the tendency to fly to the north for the summer.
