Eagle nest photos from FEB 23.
Glory and Honor were sitting up high. Note that the younger eaglet (Glory) still looks a bit smaller and has retained more down on his breast and wing coverts.
Pride had just fed the eaglets before I arrived. He was roosting on the nest tree, then flew over to the melaleucas to the west.
Joy was already there, and they called to each other.
Pride then took off and flew towards Joy.
The male attempted copulation. It was probably more of a symbolic reinforcement of the pair bond.
