I arrived about 08:25 and I could see the female with my binoculars and small movement in the nest. She flew as I was setting-up my Handy Cam. I could see movement ,so I recorded a few minutes. Smith arrived about 09:05 and we observed the movement until about 09:35 when the female returned and began to feed. I began to record and observe, and we clearly could see two chicks. Ken arrived about 09:50 and he began to take photos. Several people stoped to observe and talk, which was good ,because one parked in the no parking . At about 10:45 we called it a day. Upon my return home I again reviewed the disc , and I'm glad to report there are still three. I'm calling the smallish chick , number three, because it is much smaller than one and two. Chicks one and two seem to be intimdating the smaller chick ,but it did get some food. I hope Ken's photos will help to confirm todays watch.
