Thursday FEB 20 1:45 PM feeding

Got out at 1:15 PM to watch the Pembroke Pines eagle nest for about 45 minutes. This palm frond looked like a human leg sticking out of the nest!

At first no eaglets were visible, but the older one stretched and got up after about 10 minutes.

A half hour into my watch the male arrived with a fish.

The eaglets made quite a bit of noise.

They are nearly the same size-- Honor is on the left and Glory on the right. I think maybe they are both females. Let's watch closely and compare their sizes.

Honor's wing feather development is noticeably ahead of Glory's.

The older one dominated the feeding, but the parent took care to feed both.
