Watching from the car parked on the N side-a hint

Jill W
Sometimes, I'm at the nest area for long periods of time.  I will sometimes watch from my car, parked outside the line of the turning lane on the N side, from inside of the car, standing outside, propped against the car or sitting on top of the car.  I've found (at least for me) the best place to watch.  I'm using binoculars that are 12 X 50, so I can see the nest pretty clearly.  Of course, it depends on how the winds are blowing and from what direction.

Here is a really good spot.  If you look at the turning lane, there is a fairly big tar (black) spot in the lane, about half way from the beginning of the turning lane to the end.  If you position yourself so that the spot is due south of you, you shoud get a good view.  I'll try to show you what to look for with some pics.
