Friday, 10-2-09, Eagle at the nest

I stopped by this morning around 9:10am. I parked on the north side and walked across to the south side near the school zone sign and immediately one of the eagles flew in from the south. It spent about 2-3 minutes grooming the nest then flew off, heading south. Of course my camera was in the trunk! I quickly set up camp and waited for a return. By 10:00am I had to leave and no return had happened. I'm just happy knowing they are returning this year!
