Ken , Great pictures .. It is very possible that Joy did get hurt and the new Female made her Leave . I have seen the same thing happen in another Eagle Nest . The Females Talon was hurt really bad and it fell off and the Male take care of her and out of no were a new female come in and took over . If Joy talon is hurt she can't fight back and Pride will move on .
