Isn't this wonderful, that we have so many candidates for Pride's new mate. In 2007, there were only two eagles in Broward County. Now we have two nests and at least 2 or 3 contenders, plus other Juveniles.

Agree that both eagles appear to have pure white heads, Mike.
However the time of day and lighting conditions may be at play here. When I first saw it I thought Joy had returned.
Both beaks look pure yellow. Head shape of the one on the right in the lower photo resembles that of the new female "Newfee" and there is a tuft of white on its breast which is sometimes present.
I would have thought that Newfee's dark spot on the top of her head should show in one of these shots, as the eye streak and also the small dark area on her bill have not always been visible.
I'd not rush to judgement but this is very interesting and I hope we get lots more photos under different light conditions.
